55 plate Peugeot 307S 1.4 with a very very snatchy clutch. Any views? ?

It has 20,000 miles on the clock. Peugeot dealer says nothing wrong with clutch. They say to keep the revs up when releasing the clutch to prevent it snatching in? Seems to me that will wear it out rather quickly? I think its dangerous? Anybody else suffered the same problem?

What does "snatching in" mean?  A snatchy clutch?
This will be the least of your worries.

btw.  the 307s is the most problematic car ever made by Peugeot.  Read the reviews I found on the internet, and linked to this YAHOO answer.  The brakes and electrical system forced recalls of hundreds of thousands of this model:
