Hello all,

I am trying to find a scooter locally that is kind of bulky, looks sporty, and is a 49cc so I can ride without having to get a motorcycle license. I would also like it if it could hold quite a few pounds--and can seat two people. I am getting frustrated and having bad luck finding anything on the internet about such places that carry these. And NOBODY in my family will help me!

So, can somebody, anybody--help me find what it is that I am looking for?! If you live in Roanoke, Va and know of such places locally that carry what I am looking for--will you give me the address of the place or where abouts would it be--and if there are any sites that carry such a thing--let me know! Even if the site is not local to me, I will still be interested in looking.

Please help!

Thanks,

Cassie

What brand name are you looking for? Big and bulky dont go with 49cc.
Check on e-bay or craigslist

It will have to be larger than 49cc to carry 2 people.
Any Honda, Suzuki, or Yamaha dealership will have what you are looking for.
Look for a dealership in the phone book.
Scooters are classified as motorcycles and a motorcycle license is required to legally operate one on public roads.

just about any scooter dealer sells  scooters that fit your criteria try craiglist they always have something. and you may want to get yours tweaked so that it has mor horsepower nearly every 50 cc scooter can be and I think that's waht your looking for.

you are not going to find a 49cc bulky scooter that seats two people you will find a tiny barley street legal one seated scooter the motorcycle school is a good idea or you will be run down on the road it is to keep you safe i strongly suggest it and your life/motorcycle insurance will go up if you don't take the test and the reason you cant find one is they don't exist you will need something pushing 100cc or just get a small motorcycle

You still have to be old enough to get a regular drivers license. Little kid can not ride 49cc scooters on the street. A good brand that is rated higher than Yamaha and Honda and the rest of the Jap scooters is Kymco. They have many styles and sizes that do not cost as much as the Jap scooters.
