UP? Hi, I am 17 and and i just got my licence a few months ago...  today i rear-ended the car in front of me and did not cause any damage to that car, but the front of my car is messed up, including the hood being very bent. i was ready to pull over and exchange papers, but the person never pulled over, and i eventually lost them (as i said before, there was no real damage to their car). Now i know that i was at fault because it happened in front of me, so what should we tell the insurance company??? would i be better off saying i just hit a wall or something and not another car??? will my insurance go up???

tell your insurance company the truth.  You will most likely end up using your collision coverage to repair your car and your rates May (not WILL) go up
