Please reply the question in the light of following meanings.
PAINT---a colouring substance spread or for spreading on the surface; coloured cosmetics.
TAINT---a stain; a blemish; pollution; infection; a latent or incipient defect or corruption.

There both difficult to remove. I'm not sure if that answers your question though because I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you trying to ask which one is more difficult to remove? If that's the case then "taint" is harder to remove without messing up the "paint".
