I have my shifter repaired last week the button on the shifter was stuck and it wasn't releasing my key. I just got my car out of the shop last Saturday and it will be going back again this Saturday. I realize while I was leaving my job my headlight on the passenger side are out both low beam and high beam and also I do not think the high beams are working on the drivers side either. Could this be a electrical problem? The Volvo dealer was suppose to do a all around check on my car before they released it to me. I do not know if the headlights were like that when I took it there last week or did the headlights go out this week. I feel like I bought a lemon. In September I took it in because the brakes light was on and my brakes were not acting right, but they could not find anything wrong with the brakes. The service writer said that the brake fluid wasn't low enough to make the brake light come on, so all they did was put more brake fluid in.
