without leaving it dull? I dropped my helmet and it got messed up, also I put my helmet with my boots in the same bag and now it has scuffed up the helmet more.  Sad  Please help if you know a way to remove the scuff marks without further damaging my helmet.  Thanks

try Simple Green. It works good for rubber scuffs

The best bet for scuff removal (especially black boot marks) is Kiwi neutral shoe polish and a soft cloth.

rubbing compound, then wax[mother's is my choice]
