The Sylmar fire has already burned down my childhood home and is getting close to where I live. 10,000 people have been evacuated. 2,600 acres have burned.

And Yahoo, on its main page shows a KITTEN IN A BOX?  

I mean, come on! Show REAL news for God's sake.

Yes yahoo you arent always , up with latest or all the important news .
I know the present money crisis is important but , surely a big fire burning out homes is more important than Madonnas latest divorce spat or her plans for a girls school in Malawi.
I dont say dont run MADONNA but keep a sense of proportion .

Where is Sylmar? 2600 acres is what 700 hectares? We get over a hundred fires like that here every year.

A kitten in a box is a lot more relevant to me.
