I don't have any extra graphics card (to my knowledge), and I'm using a second monitor because my laptop screen broke. I have 3 "display settings" to the 2nd monitor: regular, excessively zoomed, and disconnected. Any movie file I open in regular mode goes full screen, and I can't do anything (even when it ends) without changing to Excessively Zoomed. Even a Movie Maker file with an image (without clicking play) takes the full screen. ESC key does NOT work. This never happened before the computer's drive crashed and had to be wiped (maybe that has some relevance?).

Most important is the above question, but I'll sneak a second unrelated question in here: Because of the drive wipe, turning the computer on after a regular shut down always asks if I want to use "XP Home Edition" or "XP Home Edition" (there is no difference). After a time it runs itself, but is there a way to make it not waste time asking?
that onlyforyou website takes me to siteadvertising.org...what's the point?
