installed 700r4 on 92 camaro 5.0l from 1991 astro 4.3l. need a little help?

installed 700r4 from chevy astro `91 4.3l in my 92 z28 camaro. everything looks great inside of the transmission. any suggestions on how to adjust my shift linkage on manual shaft of transmission. If shift linkage is adjusted wrong can this be the problem why my car won't move? I also think maybed the filter fell out not for sure dropping pan today. Can filter that fell out cuz transmission to not work.

if you didn't fill the converter before you installed it that could be a problem
put sift selector in park  shift trans to park  hook up and set linkage
